A nearest-the-pin challenge would usually cause few problems for the European Tour stars, but how would they cope with taking it on using the opposite hand?
Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson were among the players to accept the task on Wednesday ahead of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, as they tried to go close at Dundonald Links’ par-three 11th.
With 118 yards from tee-to-pin and a light breeze giving the players plenty to think about, they all took it in turns to see who would show off their ambidextrous qualities.
Rickie Fowler, Ian Poulter and Martin Kaymer also had a go left-handed, with some achieving more success than others!
Although none of the European Tour professionals managed to fire a hole-in-one and some were nowhere near finding the green, one fired their effort to within two feet of the pin.
