St Helens welcome skipper Jon Wilkin back from suspension for Sunday’s Betfred Super League clash with Catalans.

Wilkin missed last week’s win over Hull FC after he received a one-game ban for dangerous contact during their round-20 clash with Leeds.

The 32-year-old replaces Adam Swift in Justin Holbrook’s 19-man squad as Saints seek a third win in four games.

St Helens were 19-12 winners over Hull FC in round 21

Greg Bird and Fouad Yaha are back from suspension for the Dragons while go straight into the squad.

Richie Myler has been cleared by medics and is expected to return but Brayden Wiliame and Jodie Broughton miss out on the trip to the Totally Wicked Stadium.

“Catalans are hard to predict,” Holbook told the St Helens website. “They held Wigan at 10-10 with three guys suspended and those players will come back in this week.

“Recent weeks show they are improving. We have to be aware of them but be aware of our performance too.

“We have to play well from the start. We have been playing well for a few weeks now and consistency is what is needed for us to catch the top four.”
