Sky Live: England v West Indies

14 July 2017 National Sport

England will look to strengthen their grip on top spot in the Women’s World Cup group as they face West Indies on Saturday.

You can watch the game on our FREE LIVE STREAM from 10am and you can also see it on Sky Sports 3 HD and Sky Sports Mix.

In addition, you can catch India v New Zealand at Derby by signing in to or the Sky Sports iPad app, while Sri Lanka’s clash with Pakistan and South Africa v Australia are also available on the Sky Sports iPad app.

Heather Knight’s side backed up their thrilling three-run win over reigning world champions Australia with a comfortable win over New Zealand on Wednesday to secure their place in the semi-finals.

Natalie Sciver’s second century over the tournament helped England up to 284-9 at Derby before Alex Hartley (3-44) and Jenny Gunn (2-32) bowled the hosts to their fifth victory in succession.

That win kept England at the top of the table, ahead of Australia on net run rate and they can cement their position with victory over a West Indies side that has won just two of their six games.

Meanwhile, with England, Australia and South Africa already qualified for the semis, it looks to be between India and New Zealand for the final spot – and the pair go head to head at Derby with India currently a point ahead of the Kiwis.

The battle for the wooden spoon takes place at Grace Road when Pakistan meet Sri Lanka. With both sides currently played six, lost six, Saturday’s encounter provides them with the chance to belatedly get off the mark for the tournament.

South Africa and Australia meet at Taunton with both sides safely through to the last four. The Southern Stars can all but make sure of a top-two finish with a win but a South African triumph would see them leapfrog the Aussies.
